Tampa Police: Woman's Maserati Stolen At Blue Martini

TAMPA - During a disturbance at International Plaza's Blue Martini nightclub early this morning, someone spilled a drink on Gloria Higham, police said.

After the incident was over, Higham noticed her purse – containing the keys to her 2007 white Maserati – was missing, according to a police report.

A short while later, Higham went to the parking lot of the mall, at 2223 N. West Shore Blvd., and found the car was gone, the report states.

It was later recovered by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at an apartment complex on Sheldon Road.

Its wheels were missing, police say.

Higham told police she owned the Italian sports car outright. She told police the car's value was $110,000.

When reached by phone, Higham declined comment.
