THE DIFFERENCE: Plant City (1-1) struggled offensively throughout the game, but scored a safety toward the end of the first quarter against Blake quarterback Eugene Davenport and a two-yard touchdown run by Dorian Graham.

GAME NOTES: Senior quarterback Clint Stearns was sacked three times in the first quarter, one resulting in the safety to put the first points on the board. ... Blake swarmed Plant City after the touchdown run in the second quarter to block the extra point. ... On the ensuing kickoff return, Plant City senior receiver Justin Lewis, was laid out by Blake senior Ivory Gadson's tackle. ...
