Patrol: Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit On U.S. 19 In Pasco

PORT RICHEY - A 48-year-old woman died Sunday, a day after being struck by a pickup on U.S. 19, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Beckie M. Wilson of New Port Richey walked into the path of a Toyota Tundra driving north on U.S. 19, just north of Butch Street, a report states.
The driver of the pickup, Shawn C. Hall, 24, was unable to avoid Wilson, the report states, and the left front end of his truck hit her left side, and she landed in the grass median.
Hall nor any of his five passengers were injured.
Wilson was flown to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, where she died Sunday.
