Tasty Morsels On TV This Week
"Feasting on Waves," 8 tonight, Food Network
If you missed the premiere episode of Alton Brown's summer road-food miniseries, you can jump in at this second episode. Brown is sailing the islands of the Lesser Antilles in search of America's culinary roots by exploring authentic Caribbean cuisine.
"Kitchen Nightmares," 9 p.m. Thursday, Fox
Chef Gordon Ramsay attempts to help a bickering father-son team managing an Italian restaurant in Macomb Township, Mich. If there's one thing Ramsay knows, it's bickering.
"Guy Off the Hook," 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Food Network
Guy Fieri won "The Next Food Network Star" competition in 2006. Since then, he has been busting out TV shows like an overstuffed pinata. This show, his fourth series, features him cooking in front of a studio audience. Sounds a lot like "Emeril Live!" only younger and with spiky hair.
"Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern," 9 p.m. Monday, Travel Channel
Zimmern heads to Sicily and explores the island's unique flavor palate. He tastes sardine meatballs, cow spleen and artichoke ice cream. We're guessing he throws down a Tums off-camera, too.
