ST. PETERSBURG - A Pinellas County school bus clipped an overhanging roof of a house while attempting to make a turn this morning, St. Petersburg police said.
No passengers were on the bus, and the collision caused about $800 in damage to the home, police said. No citations were issued, and no one was injured.
The driver was heading west on Ninth Place South about 7 a.m. and attempted to turn onto 12th Street South. The back of the bus roof caught a piece of the home's roof at 920 12th St., police said.
