Police: Tampa Man Shot To Death In Front Of His House

The victim stepped outside of his home at 2341 W. Walnut St. at 12:10 a.m. today and was confronted by an unknown number of suspects, Tampa police Sgt. Jeffrey Wilks said.

TAMPA - TAMPA - Police are searching for the gunman who killed a man in front of his house early Thursday.
Lazaro Durruty-Delgado, 52, stepped outside of his home at 2341 W. Walnut St. at 12:10 a.m. and was confronted by an unknown number of suspects, Tampa police said in a news release.
Somebody shot the man and ran away. Durruty-Delgado was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he died.
Authorities said the shooting may be drug-related.
