Stop Pet Overpopulation Together Tampa Bay (SPOT) is celebrating the stars of the 2009 Calendar with a Yappie Hour and Calendar Party from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Clearwater Wine Co. & Island Dog Outfitters, 483 Mandalay Ave. Ste. 113, Pelican Plaza, Clearwater Beach. Bring your pets out for a night of fun and check out the SPOT 2009 Calendar, featuring more than 100 photos including the top 12 cats and 12 dogs of this year. Tailgate For Tails

Gather all football fans for the fourth annual Tailgate for Tails to benefit the tails at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay on Sunday. The Bucs will kick off against the Bears at 1 p.m. Agree to host a Tailgate for Tails party, invite your friends and ask them to make a donation to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. Pet Care Seminar
Learn everything you want to know about your pets and more from an animal communicator from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Hosted by Stop Pet Overpopulation Together Tampa Bay, it's at the Pinellas Park Library, 7770 52nd St., Pinellas Park. Admission is free. Charity Tennis Tournament

Smack a ball for the Humane Society of Pinellas at the Royal Racquet Club, 2565 N.E. Coachman Road, Clearwater from Wednesday through Sept. 28. Men's, women's and doubles at level 3 welcome. Entry fee is $45 per person per event, or $65 per person for two events. Paid participants are invited to the warm-up party at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
