HUDSON - Five students were taken to a local hospital as a precaution this morning after being involved in a "minor" crash while riding on their school bus, Pasco Fire Rescue dispatchers said.
The students, who were en route to Hudson Middle School, complained of back pain, according to dispatchers. Nobody in the second vehicle was injured in the crash, which occurred just after 7:30 a.m. at Hudson Avenue and Cobra Way.
It wasn't immediately clear how many children were aboard the bus.
The westbound lane of Hudson Avenue was blocked for a short time, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
