The Barack Obama campaign has added a Daytona Beach town hall meeting this morning to the schedule for his weekend in Florida.
The Obama Women for Change event will be at Bethune-Cookman University, followed by a rally at a Jacksonville park this afternoon. Obama held events in the Miami area Friday.
Also, Valerie Biden Owens, sister of vice presidential nominee Joe Biden, will stop in Brandon, Winter Haven, St. Cloud and Daytona Beach on Saturday, and Altamonte Springs, Leesburg and Dade City on Sunday to talk about the Obama-Biden plan to benefit women and families. The Brandon event will be at 11:30 a.m. at Cherry's Restaurant, 10033 E. Adamo Drive.
Govs. Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas and Janet Napolitano of Arizona will campaign for Obama in St. Petersburg today to discuss women's economic security at Fox Hall at Eckerd College. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. and the program begins at 2:15 p.m.
