Published: September 20, 2008

DUNEDIN - After two less than impressive games to start the season, Rivals.com four-star running back Adaris Bellamy of Dunedin, who has verbally committed to South Florida, finally broke Friday.

In a span of eight carries, Bellamy, a senior, scored six touchdowns on runs of 4, 3, 49, 24, 17 and 65 as Dunedin hammered Osceola 56-7.

Bellamy's last carry was his 65-yard score, which came on the host Falcons' first play from scrimmage in the second half. Bellamy finished with 204 yards on nine carries for 22.6 yards per carry.

Despite his greatest high school game, Bellamy wasn't overly impressed.

"It was basically all of my line," Bellamy said. "They blocked tremendously. It was the best I've seen them block all year. Without them I wouldn't have done it."
