THE DIFFERENCE: A 49-yard touchdown run by Land O' Lakes FB Tyler Peak on the Gators' fourth offensive play gave the home team the lead for good.

GAME NOTES: The Gators (2-1) sacked Zephyrhills QB Tyler Guy six times, including a drive-ending takedown as time expired in the first half. The Bulldogs (0-3) were trying to score from the Gators' 6-yard line with 4.1 seconds left. ... Guy finished 14-of-23 for 176 yards and an interception, and WR Alex Sampson had nine catches for 115 yards. ... Land O' Lakes used seven ball carriers to run for 171 yards on 33 carries, but QB Stephen Weatherford was just 3-of-9 passing for 36 yards and was sacked twice by the Bulldogs. ... A fumble recovery by Josh Geiger set up Zephyrhills' only score, a 21-yard field goal by Guy. ... The Gators fumbled five times, but they only lost two. ... Land O' Lakes kicker Alex Spock had a career-long 47-yard field goal to preserve the lead in the fourth quarter.

STAT OF THE GAME: Land O' Lakes won its 23rd consecutive game between Week 2 and Week 11 of the regular season, dating to 2005, while Zephyrhills is 0-3 for the first time since 1992.
