THE DIFFERENCE: After being shut out in the first half, Robinson (1-2) scored all of its points in the second, capitalizing on good field position while holding Leto (1-2) to one offensive touchdown, which didn't come until late in the fourth quarter.
GAME NOTES: Sophomore Robert Smith ran in the Knights' first two TDs, both in the third quarter from 1 yard out, with the second putting Robinson ahead for good. ... QB Ruben Gonzalez capped Robinson's scoring and put the game out of reach with a 4-yard TD run in the fourth quarter. ... Junior Fred Timmons returned the opening kickoff 99 yards for a TD to put Leto ahead early. ... Jeremy Deering found Antwoun Howard for a 7-yard TD reception late in the fourth to cut the deficit to 20-16, but Leto was unable to recover the onside kick. ... The Falcons were limited to one first down in the first half.
STAT OF THE GAME: Robinson started six of its seven second-half drives in Leto territory, including two inside the Falcons' 10-yard line.
