Tarpon Springs Teacher Accused Of Slapping Student

A history teacher at Tarpon Springs High School has been accused of slapping a 10th-grader on the head and pushing the student against a wall, causing a bruise, Tarpon Springs police said today.
Terry Allen Morrow, 44, of Tarpon Springs, was charged with child abuse when he was arrested Monday. Police say the incident happened about 1 p.m. Friday in Morrow's world history classroom. No other people were in the room, a criminal arrest affidavit states.
Morrow was released at 8:31 p.m. tonight from Pinellas County Jail after posting $5,000 bail.
