CLEARWATER - Nick Bollea, the teenage son of famed former wrestler Hulk Hogan, is expected to be released from the Pinellas County Jail on Oct. 21, barring any disciplinary incidents, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Bollea, now 18, was sentenced to eight months on May 9 after pleading no contest to a charge of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. On Aug. 26, Bollea, then 17, was involved in a wreck that left his passenger, Iraq war veteran John Graziano, in a semi-conscious state.
One reason Bollea is not serving the full eight months is because he gets up to five days knocked off every 30 days for good behavior, said Pinellas Sheriff's Sgt. Jim Bordner, and Bollea by all accounts has been a model inmate.
If he is involved in a disciplinary incident, the Oct. 21 release date could be pushed back, Bordner said.
