Now that the Tampa Bay Rays are the American League East champions, tickets for the league Division Series Home Game 3 can go on sale.
Winners of the Postseason Ticket Opportunity, which allowed fans to win the chance to buy tickets to Home Game 3, will be notified Sunday of the Web site and password they can use to purchase tickets Monday.
Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Rays' Web site at www.raysbaseball.com.
Any tickets left after that will go on sale at the Rays regular ticket outlets Wednesday. Outlets include the Tropicana Field Box Office, the Rays Tampa Office at 400 N. Tampa St., International Plaza's main concierge desk, all Ticketmaster outlets and via Ticketmaster phone charge at (727) 898-RAYS and (813) 282-RAYS.
Fans can register for possible online pre-sales of the American League Championship Series or the World Series by signing up for the Postseason Ticket Opportunity at the team's Web site. Those who registered to buy tickets for the Division Series home games are already registered for all 2008 Rays postseason games and do not need to re-register.
Division Series games, dates, and times, are still to be determined.
Those who have put down deposits on 2009 season ticket plans are guaranteed the opportunity to buy 2008 postseason ticket packages.
For information, call the Rays Ticket Office at 888-FAN-RAYS or visit raysbaseball.com.
