TARPON SPRINGS ... 41 RIVER RIDGE ... 21

THE DIFFERENCE: Tarpon Springs (3-0) dominated in the third quarter, scoring three touchdowns to take a 41-14 lead. Senior Miles Toli had an 81-yard touchdown run, and Josiah Fisk added a 51-yard touchdown run before quarterback Danny Reyes found Bobby Vavlas for a 4-yard touchdown pass.

GAME NOTES: Quarterback Reyes opened the scoring for the Spongers when he found Drew Kier for a 15-yard touchdown pass. ... Senior Marcelle Lewis then doubled Tarpon Springs' lead on a 25-yard touchdown run. ... River Ridge quarterback Marcelle Toce scored twice in the second quarter, both scores coming on 1-yard runs to cut the Spongers' halftime lead to 21-14. ... Lewis' 41-yard touchdown run maintained the Spongers' advantage entering the break.... Toce completed the scoring with his third touchdown of the night on a 10-yard run, but the Royal Knights' were unable to mount any more of a comeback.

STAT OF THE GAME: The Spongers accumulated 12 penalties on the night costing them a total of 60 yards for the game.
