Tampa Pedestrian Struck Twice At Intersection, Dies

A man wearing headphones and listening to music was struck by a truck and then a sport utility vehicle at Florida Avenue and West North Street, Tampa police say.
A female passerby called officers at 2:24 p.m. today, saying a man was down in the middle of the street, officers say.
The man, Michael Nolan, died at the scene. Nolan, 44, of 212 W. North St., lives two blocks from where he died, police spokeswoman Laura McElroy said.
