CLEARWATER - A Dunedin man was arrested this morning on charges he set fire to a converted shed owned by a man he had earlier threatened, Clearwater police said.
Drew W. Holsapple, 34, was charged with arson and burglary. He was being held at the Pinellas County Jail on $50,500 bail, jail records show.
Holsapple is accused of setting fire to a converted shed at 1032 Apache Trail about 2 a.m., said Joelle Castelli, a city spokeswoman.
Earlier, he was seen by witnesses carrying a gas container, she said. The shed was ablaze when firefighters arrived, and the damage is estimated at $10,000, she said.
The nature of the dispute between Holsapple and the owner was not available. The owner was taken to Morton Plant Hospital as a precautionary measure, Castelli said.
