TAMPA - New Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris continued his morning hip-hop séance at day two of minicamp Wednesday by playing songs from rapper David Banner, reggae artist Damien Marley and R&B singer The Dream.
Morris' approach and tough attitude were on display by his treatment of the kickers.
Most kickers do not participate in team activities and practice on a separate field, but Morris had Matt Bryant and Mike Nugent catch passes with receivers during warmups. Both were small targets, but neither dropped any passes.
Newly acquired tight end Kellen Winslow did not participate in Wednesday's workouts.
Winslow was at practice and in uniform, but did not have a helmet and stood by the other tight ends who are practicing. Winslow fully participated in practice Tuesday.
In addition, Bucs restricted free agent Donald Penn missed his second day of the voluntary minicamp. The offensive tackle is not under contract, but is not prohibited by league rules from attending a voluntary minicamp if unsigned.
Also, quarterback Brian Griese (his wife is eight months pregnant) and running back Earnest Graham (personal reasons) remain excused.
