Palm Harbor Couple Dead After Apparent Murder-Suicide

PALM HARBOR - A man and woman found dead this afternoon in a Palm Harbor home from an apparent murder-suicide have been identified as Victor Don Campbell, 67 and his wife, Joanna Campbell, 66, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

A neighbor went to check on the well-being of the couple at 433 Manor Blvd. and called 911 after finding the bodies, authorities say.

Deputies went to the home at 12:56 p.m. and discovered the Campbells died from gunshot wounds, the sheriff's office said.

This is the second apparent murder-suicide case the sheriff's office has investigated this week. In Largo on Monday, Mike Roberts shot a 21-year-old man and the man's 16-year-old girlfriend before turning the gun on himself.
