2 Gang Members Face Drug Charges, Deputies Say

TAMPA - Two members of the Dover Locos gang were arrested after deputies found a bag of marijuana and thousands of dollars inside a Cadillac Escalade, Hillsborough County deputies say.

Pedro Rodriguez, 29, of Plant City, and Enrique Ibarra, 21, of Dover, were pulled over for a window-tint violation about 5 p.m. Tuesday in Dover. Rodriguez was driving the Cadillac; Ibarra was the passenger.

Deputies found $11,000 in cash and a plastic bag containing more than 1 pound of marijuana in the vehicle, an arrest report states. Rodriguez had more than $18,000 in cash and there was a digital scale in Ibarra's seat.

Charges against the men include possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and causing, encouraging, soliciting, or recruiting criminal gang membership.

Ibarra and Rodriguez remained in Orient Road Jail today. No bail has been set.
