Deputies: Man Pistol-Whipped Wife

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office arrested 31-year-old Patrick Zerance Jr. on Tuesday for pistol-whipping his estranged wife and pushing her out of his moving vehicle Monday afternoon in San Antonio, deputies said.
Zerance, of 16214 September Drive, Lutz, turned himself in to detectives Tuesday afternoon in Dade City.
Investigators say he threatened to kill his wife, Julie Zerance, on Monday before pistol-whipping her and pushing her from a Ford sport utility vehicle near Flying J truck stop in San Antonio.
Sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll said Julie Zerance's injuries were not life-threatening. She was flown to a hospital.
Zerance had fled from Florida Highway Patrol troopers when they tried to pull him over, Doll said.
