Riverview Man Dies After His Motorcycle Hits Curb

A motorcyclist from Riverview died Wednesday afternoon after he was ejected from his vehicle and struck a stop sign.
Matthew Nugent, 21, was driving a 2002 Honda motorcycle east on Providence Ridge Boulevard about 2:23 p.m. when he failed to make his way around curve and struck a curb, Hillsborough County deputies said.
Nugent was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he died at 3:19 p.m.
He was not wearing a helmet, deputies said.
