A 29-year-old Tampa man and two other people kicked and beat a person repeatedly, causing the person's left eye socket to break, Tampa police say.
Police arrested Marterrence Holloway on Wednesday afternoon. He was charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and failure to appear on a possession of marijuana charge.
Holloway is the brother of the victim's girlfriend, Tampa police say.
The victim also suffered other possible broken bones, as well as a 1-inch cut under his left eye that needed stitches, during Friday's attack, an arrest report states. He was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital.
The victim couldn't identify the other two suspects, according to an arrest report.
Holloway's bail was set at $8,500. He has since been released from jail.
