5-Year-Old Girl Hit By Car In St. Petersburg

A vehicle struck a 5-year-old girl today, according to St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue.
The crash occurred about 6:51 p.m. at 26th Ave. and 9th St. S. in St. Petersburg.
Acting Lt. Greg Harvin said bystanders had pulled the girl out from under the car when paramedics arrived. She was taken to Bayfront Medical Center.
Information on her condition was not immediately available.
