LAND O' LAKES - After leading the River Ridge volleyball program for 15 seasons, Heidi Castelamare is now the athletic director at new Anclote High in Holiday.

Castelamare had a record of 354-105 at River Ridge. She led the Royal Knights to 12 district titles, including seven in a row, and 11 Sunshine Athletic Conference titles, including eight in a row.

She is 488-147 in her career.

Castelamare, formerly an outside hitter at River Valley High in Michigan and a setter at the University of South Florida, was Ridgewood's coach from 1986-90.

Thus far, the AD post hasn't come with a coaching requirement, so Castelamare likely won't be coaching the Sharks.
