Firefighters Put Out Blaze At Lakeland Warehouse

Polk County firefighters put out a blaze at an animal feed warehouse in Lakeland tonight.

A fire was reported shortly before 8 p.m. at the 20,000-foot Lakeland Animal Nutrition, 2801 S. Combee Rd., according to Polk County Fire Rescue officials. It took firefighters about 45 minutes to contain the fire.

The blaze burned up several pallets of animal feed. No one was injured.
