The Wharton boys 4x800-meter relay moved to No. 4 in the nation with its second-place showing at Saturday's Florida Relays in Gainesville.
The Wildcats' John Grellner, Nick Swain, Sean Obinwa and Gilbert Rodriquez ran a time of 7 minutes, 47.88 seconds, while first place Flagler Palm Coast ran 7:46.57 to rank No. 3 in the country.
Taking third was Sickles' 4x800 squad of Dan and Derek Wehunt, Marc DeJute and Julian Gines, who ran a school-record 7:54.82. In the 4x1,600 relay, Jesuit's Logan Trimble, Ben Martin, Jordan Schilit and Connor Revord grabbed first place in 18:01.39.
To close the meet, Wharton's boys 4x400 squad - Kevin Williams, Chris Watson, Jason Washington and Obinwa - finished third in a season-best effort of 3:20.63.
