TAMPA - If you're due for a haircut, Wednesday is the day to get one. Not only can you get a new look for spring, but your haircut can benefit a worthy cause.

Mark Alan Salon in Tampa will be abuzz with free haircuts to benefit Locks of Love. The salon, located at 8627 Citrus Park Drive in Tampa, will provide a complimentary cut and style to anyone who wants to donate at least 10 inches of hair.

But you don't need to have 10-inch tresses to visit the salon and help fight cancer. Anyone who makes a donation will receive a complimentary haircut and style.

Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides wigs for youngsters who lose their hair while battling cancer.

The event will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday. And you don't need appointment.
