Hit-run leaves Homosassa bicyclist in critical condition

Authorities are searching for the vehicle that struck a bicyclist on the Homosassa Trail and then fled Tuesday night.
Guy Leslie Ketelhut, 46, of Homosassa, was riding his bike westbound on the trail near Rock Crusher Road about 9:40 p.m. when the vehicle struck him from behind, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Ketelhut was taken to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition, Trooper Tod Cloud said.
Authorities do not have a description of the vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Cloud at 352-754-6767 ext.151.
