SPRING HILL - Deputies say a Spring Hill man obtained 90 prescription pills by phoning pharmacies and pretending to be a doctor.
An investigation opened Jan. 28 when CVS/pharmacy staff reported phone calls made by Derek Gendron, according to a report. A narcotics detective eventually determined Gendron filled prescriptions during December and January at two pharmacies for a total of 90 pills.
Gendron, 37, of 2309 Pomeroy Road, was charged Tuesday with drug trafficking.
