BROOKSVILLE - A woman arrested on suspicion of shoplifting Wednesday told deputies she was just trying to get nice clothes for her children for Easter.
The suspect, Adrian Gardner, 34, was stopped at the door by Bealls Outlet security after cameras caught her stuffing clothes into an oversized purse, according to a report.
Gardner reportedly told deputies she wanted her children to have nice clothes for Sunday; she was arrested on a felony retail theft charge because she has a criminal history of petit and grand theft dating back to 1998, a report states.
