TAMPA - Hillsborough County's Fire Prevention division is asking county commissioners for an increase in fees for commercial building inspections, plan reviews and other services.
Fire Marshal Stephen Kendrick said that in many cases the increase would be minor, such as $12.
The biggest increase would come for sprinkler system, standpipe and fire alarm inspections, which would jump from $30 to $113.
