Someone who bought a Florida Lotto ticket from a Sun City Center grocery store should be very happy right about now.
Lottery officials announced Thursday that the single ticket that won the $50 million Florida Lotto jackpot Wednesday night was purchased at the Winn-Dixie supermarket at 4445 Sun City Center Blvd.
One ticket matched all six numbers: 5, 7, 31, 39, 44 and 45.
The grocery store will get a bonus of $100,000 for selling the winning $1 ticket.
Winn-Dixie manager Jeremy Estill said the store is abuzz. Lotto officials came by this morning and put up posters announcing the winning ticket was sold there.
Who is holding on to the ticket remains a mystery, Estill said.
"I wish I knew," he said Thursday afternoon. "We've been waiting for them to come in all day."
He said the store sells a lot of lottery tickets, but this is its first jackpot winner.
