Although Stuart is only a juvenile sea turtle, he's had a rough life. He was found on the east coast of Florida with serious shell and skull injuries and a grim prognosis for survival. On Friday, he was brought to The Florida Aquarium in Tampa, which hopes to treat Stuart, give the turtle time to heal and release him back into the wild. If all goes well, Stuart eventually will reach 31/2 to 4 feet in length and help contribute to the survival of the species. Green sea turtles are classified as endangered in the United States.
