NEW PORT RICHEY - Two men were charged with aggravated battery after shooting a pedestrian in the face and hand with BB guns, a police report states.
Patrick Pinder, 18, of 5628 Duncan Drive, and Jose Luis Castillo-Gomez, 18, of 5916 Siesta Lane in Port Richey, are accused of shooting Jacob Masters as they drove by him at the intersection of Adams and Main streets early today.
Masters flagged down a police officer and pointed out the pickup truck, the report states. The officer stopped the pickup and arrested Pinder and Castillo-Gomez. The officer found three BB guns, one assault rifle and two semi-automatic handgun replicas inside the truck.
Castillo-Gomez and Pinder each remained in the Land O' Lakes Jail today with bail set at $10,000.
