Police searching for Plant City bank robber

PLANT CITY - Police were searching Wednesday for a man who robbed the Valrico State Bank.

Police say the man approached a teller about 11:25 a.m. and demanded money. The man, who did not appear to be armed, fled from the bank at 305 S. Wheeler St., near downtown Plant City, after receiving money.

No one was injured. Detectives say anyone with information about the robbery should call the police department at (813) 757-9200.
