BROOKSVILLE - Two separate traffic stops yielded crack cocaine Wednesday.
The first occurred around 6 p.m. when a deputy said a red Camaro failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Laumer and Reynolds streets.
The driver, Brian Born, 38, consented to a search of his pockets, which returned crack rock weighing .3 grams and a glass smoking pipe, according to a report.
Born was charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Also Wednesday, around 9 p.m., a deputy pulled over a vehicle at Cortez Boulevard and Griffin Road for a lack of brake lights and a license plate that was about to fall off, a report states.
A small crack rock was found in the pocket of the vehicle's passenger, Naedda Kelly, 41, according to a report.
Kelly was charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
