Crist appoints new county court judge

TAMPA - Former circuit court judge Richard L. Greco Jr. of Tampa has become Hillsborough County's newest county judge.
Gov. Charlie Crist on Friday appointed Greco to the position to replace Judge Charlotte W. Anderson, who had resigned.
Greco, 55, has a long local history. He served on the 13th Circuit Court from 1991 to 2001 and has been a mediator with Greco Mediations since 2008. He also was assistant state attorney from 1983 to 1984 and assistant Hillsborough County attorney from 1988 to 1990. He is currently a senior judge in the circuit court.
