Art lovers found a lot to like - and buy - at two shows in the Bay area that continue today.
Thousands enjoyed sunshine, a slight breeze and the culture at the Mainsail Arts Festival in St. Petersburg's Vinoy Park.
Those looking to fill that niche in the guest room or above their sofa had their choice of the work of more than 200 artists, consisting of sculptures, ceramics, watercolor paintings and more. More than $50,000 in prize money is awarded at Mainsail.
The festival continues today between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. along St. Petersburg's Bay shore.
Not to be outdone, Pasco County shoppers browsed through dozens of booths at the Shops at Wiregrass for the Celebration of the Arts in Wesley Chapel.
Featuring nearly every medium imaginable, from stained glass to acrylic paint to metal, the festival also includes music, children's activities and an exhibit by Tampa's Museum of Science & Industry.
It opens today at noon.
