Hillsborough Avenue crash injures man in Town 'N Country

TOWN ’N COUNTRY - At least one person was injured in a crash today on Benjamin Road that closed Hillsborough Avenue for more than an hour, officials said.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office had few details available about the crash that occurred about 11:20 a.m. but said the injuries might not be as severe as originally thought.
Motorist Yovgani Rodriguez, 36, said he was driving on Benjamin Road when a smaller car passed him and merged in front of him, causing him to smash into the other car.
Speaking through a Spanish interpreter, Rodriguez said he had no time to brake. The other car overturned from the impact, he said.
Rodriguez said his head and arm hurt from the collision.
Deputies did not issue him a traffic citation, he said.
