Manatee County sheriff's detectives are looking for a man they say is connected to a March 13 home invasion robbery in Bradenton.
The man was wearing a mask and the 84-year-old victim didn't get a good look at his features, deputies say. But a witness saw the man running from the woman's home.
The suspect is described as being possibly white, a light-skinned black man or Hispanic, about 6-foot-tall and 170 to 200 pounds. He was carrying a red backpack.
The robbery is one of several attacks since February in the Bradenton area. Detectives are investigating whether it's related to at least 10 other incidents in which women were attacked at or near their homes.
Anyone with information should call the Manatee County Sheriff's Office at (941) 747-3011, ext. 2511, or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-634-TIPS.
