TAMPA - Thumper isn't the only creature "twitterpated" come spring time.
Errant gators looking for love in all the wrong places – such as Belinda Donaldson's front porch in Westwood Lakes – are too.
"Right now, it's prime season," gator trapper Mike Fagan said. "Big ones are moving, looking for girls."
A neighbor had warned Donaldson about the 11-foot-long alligator at her front door before she stepped outside today.
Fagan was then called to 12517 Leatherleaf Drive to remove the 400- to 500-pound reptile.
The Dade City man, owner of M&D Gator Products, said the largest gator he has ever caught was 13-foot-5.
