ZEPHYRHILLS - After-hours surveillance inside a Subway sandwich shop netted an arrest early Thursday - a 23-year-old man suspected of two previous burglaries at the restaurant.
Zephyrhills Police Department detectives were inside the sandwich shop at 5406 Gall Blvd., when, at 1:47 a.m., Robert O'Neal Patterson used a hammer to break a window and enter, according to the report.
It was the third break-in at the shop in as many weeks, police said.
In addition to three counts of burglary, Patterson was charged with possession of burglary tools, petty theft and failure to appear on a previous charge of cocaine possession.
Patterson, who police say volunteered information abut the previous two burglaries, remained in the Land O'Lakes Jail this afternoon, his bail totaling $20,300.
