University of Florida wide receiver Louis Murphy, who starred at Lakewood High in St. Petersburg, was drafted in the fourth round Sunday by the Raiders.
Murphy was the second receiver with superior speed selected by Oakland this weekend, following Maryland's Darrius Heyward-Bey, who was taken with the seventh overall pick on Saturday.
Also, former Middleton standout Stoney Woodson was selected by the Giants in the seventh round.
The cornerback out of South Carolina could add depth for New York, which lost Kevin Dockery during the offseason.
