Body of missing teen surfer found in Northwest Florida

PENSACOLA - The body of a 17-year-old Mississippi student who apparently drowned was found in a beach area of Northwest Florida.
Sgt. Scott Haines, of the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Department, says the body of John Stephens of Bay St. Louis, Miss., was found Monday four miles west of Navarre Beach in the National Seashore area.
The U.S. Coast Guard called off the search Sunday, 18 hours after the teenager went missing near the Navarre Beach Pier. He was surfing with his grandfather.
