Pasco officials investigating fatal New Port Richey accident

Emergency workers are on the scene of a fatal accident involving a dump truck and a pedestrian in New Port Richey.
The crash happened at Millriver Drive and Oakmont Lane, near the Ridge River Golf and Country Club shortly before 10 a.m. today, according to the Florida Highway Patrol's Web site.
Pasco County Fire Rescue workers were the first to respond to the scene and confirmed the fatality. No details have been released about what led to the crash, who the victim was or whether there may be any charges filed.
