TALLAHASSEE - A proposed law that may make it more difficult for museums to put on some shows of preserved human bodies is headed to Florida's governor.
The bill (SB 414) passed the House on Wednesday and had already passed the Senate.
Florida museums have been at loggerheads with a state board over the exhibits for years. The board says they have to approve them, but museums have ignored the officials. Some lawmakers were concerned about museums displaying the bodies without showing they were obtained from a donor or the donor's family.
