Schoolchildren get revved up

Lacoochee Elementary School students took part in the school's Touch a Truck event Friday in Stanley Park near the school.
Local companies and Pasco County agencies brought a variety of trucks, heavy equipment, farm equipment, boats, a horse, hot rods and a hearse for students to see and touch.
Students learned the purpose and workings of some of the equipment and about the jobs of the operators.
