NEW PORT RICHEY - Two teenagers and a 12-year-old boy are accused of using a semi-automatic handgun while robbing a woman outside the West Pasco Art Guild on Wednesday morning.
New Port Richey Police charged Zachary Bogucki, 15, and Chase Jacob Swinson, 15, with armed robbery and armed burglary, while the 12-year-old , was charged with armed robbery, records said.
Investigators say the boys found a 25-caliber semi-automatic handgun in a woman's car parked near the art guild on Missouri Avenue; they had entered the car without permission. Bogucki is accused of pointing the gun at the woman's face while the boys demanded money and the victim's cell phone, records said.
The boys all live on nearby Congress Street in New Port Richey, records indicate. They fled on foot after robbing the woman, but were caught "in the area" by police a short time later, records said.
Each was being held at the Juvenile Assessment Center today, records said.
